RSS Feeds

I am looking for RSS feeds to add, but everything I have tried so far does not have an RSS feed. This is getting rather frustrating. Am I the only one who does not know what to do?

  1. It took me a while to figure it out. But I think I remember how to find feeds.
On the left side of google reader there is that column. On the top half there is a link that says "browse for stuff" (It's under links) click it.

It'll take you to a new page. In a blue box at the top the page says discover and search for feeds. Under that there are a few choice: browse (which you'll be in), search, recommendation, people you follow.
I clicked on SEARCH and entered in education. A bunch popped up. All you have to do it click on subscribe.
    I hope this helps.

  2. Judy,
I'm not a wealth of info but I was lucky in that I think most of my favorite sites had a RSS- I think one didn't work from the homepage so I searched on the website. I'm also having tech problems- can't get my avatar to link to wiki- just to mention a few...

  3. Judy - If you go to the Assignment section on Blackboard under Blog Assignment there is a paragraph that tells you how to post the RSS to your blog.

1.) In the upper right hand corner of your blog - you should see the option of "customize". (not on the dashboard page, but the actual blog page)
2.) This should open up another page, where you should see an option to "Add a Gadget" - Click on this.
3.)Then in the new window, scroll down until you find "Subscription Links" - click on the + sign.
4.) Click on the orange "save" button.
    5.) Click on "View Blog"
6.) You should see the new buttons on your page now.
    Hope this helped!
